Big news, anyone anywhere in U.S. with a prescription can now get 90 days of Metformin mailed to them for $10 Total.
Similar price and post paid on 3,000 other prescription drugs. New added to Walmart's list daily as drug patents expire.
Target and other competitors may follow with same offer.
3,000 other brand name and generic prescriptions and even brand name drugs now shipped postage paid Free anywhere in U.S. by Walmart
Metformin most popular and reported nothing new tops it. New drugs untested still brand names and very high prices, and may have even more dangerous side effects. Metformin bad, but fully known. New drugs far more risk as a result.
We recently ran articles on the serious side effects of Metformin, the standard most commonly prescribed, prescription drug for diabetes.
You will constantly hear all the publicity of all the wonderful miraculous new diabetes drugs coming on the market. This has been going on for years. The Consumers group obtained a grant to study effectiveness of prescription drugs and has found that Metformin matches or tops the new drugs in effectiveness.
There will be lots of publicity and advertising on new diabetes drugs because anything diabetic sells millions, diabetics constantly searching for something miraculous to "cure" their diabetes so they can go back on full sugar binges uninhibited.
Metformin was pulled from the U.S. market for a year for bad side effects and then reinstated under pressure. It is still banned in many countries because of horrific side effects. The most recent disclosure is on creating a serious B-12 shortage to those on it increasing problems for diabetics with neuropathy.
Alert reported on in Issue 16. Diabetes Cure 101.com
Metformin is now a Generic drug (patent ran out) which means it can be bought at Walmart or Target, etc. (now including by mail) for $10 for a 90 day supply. If you are paying more than that, then you are wasting your money.
If your doctor prescribes Gougaphage, it is the same drug but you are paying for it at trade name prices...
Known as Gougaphage when I was newly diabetic, which was the trade name, and as trade name drug it cost me $85.00 a month when I was started on it.
Quit after 60 days after learned the side effects, etc.
If you were prescribed Gougaphage and are paying a high price you can get your doctor to put your prescription on the same drug in Generic version.. "Metformin" Just Ask. If won't do it.....get a new doctor.
We suggest you get off all drugs at the earliest but be sure you taper off with your doctor's permission. It takes your system some period of time to adjust.
Never quit suddenly, check with Doctor.
Many self helping supplements, etc. or things that supposedly lower your blood sugar often take weeks to show an effect where as prescriptions actions are usually almost immediate. This is hard to understand but is just the way it works.
Many newly diagnosed diabetics may need to get on a prescription, until they learn to control their own blood sugar and get their system to gradually adjust.
The big announcement this week is that Walmart will now mail order the generic drugs, (see our previous Walmart and Target, etc. savings articles) or our web site http://savedrug.com ,
You no longer need live near a Walmart to participate in the drug price wars. Remember, Target, Hy-Vee and many others now have a matching $10 for 90 day supply of hundreds of different drugs, now available in Generic version.
New Generics become available with dramatic price drops every day as patents are running out. Keep checking.
Your drug may be available in a Generic, (off patent version) so check. This can save you a lot of money.
Now you do NOT have to even live near a Walmart, over 3,000 drugs now shipped postpaid anywhere in U.S., if you have a prescription.
It started as a $4 for 30 day supply. Then it went to 90 days for $10 and now any drug on the list, 90 day supply post-paid shipped to you anywhere in U.S. $10 total.
Previous Walmart offers matched by Target and others. The postpaid likely will be met also.
